THE HOST CLUB

Weston FC is located in the City of Weston, approximately 20 miles due west of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. With more that 25 years developing soccer talent in south Florida and celebrating their 10th annual Weston Cup and Showcase (WCS), Weston FC is Florida’s premier soccer club. Originally formed in 1988 it was formally known as West Broward AYSO Soccer Club and West Broward AYSO. In 1998, both Clubs changed their names to reflect the incorporation of the City of Weston, a thriving and dynamic city of 61,000 residents. The association with the Weston AYSO 644 program still continues today.

THE WESTON CUP & SHOWCASE TOURNAMENT ORGANIZER

Founded in 1988, United Soccer Academy is dedicated to providing soccer clubs, teams, and organizations with the best possible, highest quality international soccer experience, both on and off the field. The United Soccer Academy management staff has traveled to over 25 different countries on soccer missions with thousands of youth teams and hundreds of club teams. United Soccer Academy has developed a reputation second to none for quality, excellence, and most importantly dedication to each and every one of our teams.

THE SPORTNITY CHALLENGE EXPERIENCE PRESENTER

The Fair Competition Sport Foundation (FCSF), a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization, was created to assist sports communities to gain a better understanding of how to use sport competitions as an educational and transformational power for sports participants.

The Sportnity Challenge (SCh) is a FCSF event, and therefore the FCSF holds all the rights for the Sportnity Challenge’s competition format and the experience on and off the field (with the exception of the technology). The on-the field 2012 Sportnity Challenge competition will be played under the WC&S competition format.  The FCSF Competition Format will be used only as part of a virtual exhibition in Sportnity.

THE SPORTNITY CHALLENGE DIGITAL SPONSOR

The Sportnity Challenge is being organized with the support of Sportnity, a state-of-the-art sport virtual community that integrates the elements of social, occupational, and sport administration networks to assist sporting communities in organizing their activities and enhancing their experience of sport participation.  Sportnity is a private firm and owns the rights of the technology used for the Sportnity Challenge. 

THE SPORTNITY CHALLENGE INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS

The international effort is coordinated by Sportnity representatives in each of the participating countries with the support and collaboration of the following organizations per country:

VENEZUELA

The Venezuelan effort is coordinated by our sister Foundation in that country: FUNDACOLIM (Fundacion Competicion Limpia, - Eng: the Fair Competition Foundation).  FUNDACOLIM is a Venezuelan, not-for-profit, non-governmental organization, created to assist sports communities gain a better understanding of how to use sport competitions as an educational and transformational power for sports participants in Venezuela. Fundacolim organizes selection team with the best students athletes of Venezuela.

MEXICO

ideaFUTBOL is a privately held Mexican company create to transform the way youth sports are played, taught, and administered, making youth sports a wholesome form of entertainment that improves the quality of life for its participants.  ideaFUTBOL Academy provides state-of-the-art development programs with proprietary coaching methodology to well over 500 athletes and their families, while outsourcing its program to 8 schools in 12 venues of Mexico.  ideaFUTBOL also implements its own youth football league using its proprietary competition methodology, and it currently implements a Pilot basketball program in Mexico City.  ideaFUTBOL organizes the selection team that will participate in the Sportnity Challenge with the best students athletes of Mexico.

Davie United Soccer Club makes its home at the grounds of 
Nova Southeastern University

KENDALL 94/95 BLUE: USA

Kendall Soccer Coalition youth soccer club, a not-for-profit organization, was created in 2005 as the result of the merger of two of Miami-Dade County’s premier competitive soccer programs: West Kendall Optimist and Southern Soccer Coalition.
